Chapter 237: One Winged Beast

"This is the Arshahak Desert?" Katie questioned as she was mesmerized by the place they had teleported to.

"That's right. This's the place that I'm sure the One Winged Beast resides" Daniel replied as he observed his surroundings.

"Well, one thing for sure, this place is hot as hell" Livianna commented as she waved herself with her hand.

Even though the temperature of the desert was nothing for someone like her, she was still mildly sweating.

"But how are you going to find the beast? It seems almost impossible to find" Seraphina questioned.

As she gazed at the desert, she noticed how the end of the horizon stretched for miles.

With naked eyes, it will take days to find the beast.

"Don't worry, I have my ways" Daniel smirked as he began locating the beast that was hiding somewhere in the desert.

To add on, Daniel had accurately teleported nearby where the beast was hiding.

Thus, all he had to do was to taunt it, and the only way he could achieve that was by forcing it to appear.

*Boom*

All of a sudden, the sand underneath their feet shook, and it felt like an earthquake was taking place.

"What's going on?" Erini questioned with a worried gaze.

"The beast is finally coming out on its own" Daniel answered with a gaze that looked forward to the appearance of the beast.

*Roar*

Eventually, the beast had finally appeared from the sand beneath them, and what appeared before all 5 of them was a mixed creature between a sandworm and a dragon.

It has golden brown scales all over its body a size that was colossal.

It has hundreds of sharp teeth in its mouth with one wing hanging on its back.

It wouldn't be wrong to claim this monster as a chimaera or a product of a failed experiment.

Nevertheless, this was the One-Winged Beast.

*Roar*

As it was forcibly taunted by Daniel's mana, the beast was enraged.

It was now floating in the sky with its shadow looming over it, and its roar was so condensely powerful that it created hundreds of raging sandstorms around it.

"Who dares to disturb my slumber!?" It talked as it roared violently.

"This is the One Winged Beast...?" Seraphina questioned with a look of shock and intrigue.

"Amazing...I can tell already how powerful this beast is...and for some reason...it's quite weird..." Katie with a confused look.

"Its Mana is quite odd. I'm not sure how to explain...it feels like it exists, but at the same time, it doesn't" Erini added.

"That's the unique part for all of the Winged Beast" Daniel answered to their question.

At the same time, he was smiling widely.

After all, just by encountering any Winged Beast, he can obtain a Unique Quest.

"How could this be!?" It growled.

"How can you not be affected by my attack?" It was pretty shocking for the monster as it knew that its attack was incapable of being touched.

Any attacks the beast uses could obliterate any living beings.

After all, it was blessed by unknown gods and it possesses power beyond what any player could handle.

It was partially and a small part of a diving being, hence, all of the winged beast contains a small essence of divine powers.

But unknown to the beast, Daniel has touched the chains of a goddess before and he was unaffected by it.

Hence, with his skill, Freedom Fighter, it was pretty much useless to him.

"That's because I don't have to" Daniel laughed before he jumped upwards to the beast.

As he was above the Winged Beast, Daniel gigantified his hand to the size of the beast.

"What the-

Before the beast could assess the situation, he was grabbed by his hands, and the beast was smacked on the ground a few times.

*Boom*

Eventually, Daniel threw the beast towards the sky and with the same giant hand, he punched the beast multiple times.

"I had enough!" The beast roared as it was enraged but that didn't stop Daniel from having his fun.

With a smile, he clapped his hand and it produced a shockwave that stunted the beast for a few seconds.

Without giving the beast a chance to recover, Daniel blew air from his mouth that turned into a flamethrower, and it kept changing.

From fire to ice to wind, it kept changing, causing the beast to be tortured.

However, for the beast, it recovered instantly and it summoned thousands of beams that rained down upon Daniel.

With a calm yet playful expression, Daniel grabbed the sand beneath him once more and stretched it.

As the hundreds of blasts impacted the solid stretched sand, it was deflected directly back towards the beast.

*Boom*

The beast once more was taken aback by the unexpected situation.

However, Daniel took one of the beams with his hands and changed it into a gigantic sword where he slashed the beast with it.

At this point, the beast took considerable damage, and it spurted some blood and it fell to the ground.

"I admit, you're a foe that I have never faced before," The beast said.

"With that, I don't think this form of mine can defeat you" The beast declared as Daniel watched with an interested gaze.

All of a sudden, a pillar of golden light appeared within the beast and its colossal size was reduced.

Eventually, the previous beast had now become a humanoid beast.

"I have rarely used this form of mine, but nobody has ever survived after seeing this form" The beast proudly declared.

"So you should feel honoured and proud for witnessing this with your eyes as you won't live to see another day" It added
